Teeth Whitening

One of the first things you notice when you meet someone is their smile. With our easy and effective whitening treatment you can boost the colour of your teeth in the comfort of your own home.

Teeth can lose their natural whiteness for a number of reasons including diet, ageing, certain medications, smoking and trauma. If you have been effected by any of these reasons, we can help brighten your smile.

You’ll need to come into practice for an initial assessment to make sure you are suitable for whitening, and then impressions will be taken so that we can create moulds to fit your mouth. We’ll then show you how to apply the whitening gel and insert the moulds properly, and advise you about how often you should wear them for the best results. We will supply you with whitening gel to get you started, and after that, you’ll be able to purchase top-ups from us in practice.

If you have crowns, veneers or dentures teeth whitening will not be effective. However, these can be replaced to match your newly whitened teeth.

Whitening is not a permanent solution, therefore we recommend you avoid sugary food and drink that might discolour your teeth. However, re-whitening can be done as often as you need to, using your custom-made mouth tray. You can discuss your whitening schedule with your dentist, and they will advise which whitening products would work best for you in between sessions.
